Continuing Education

Drop-In Obedience

  • This is a 45-minute class and is for current and prior students on training tools looking to brush up on their obedience around other dogs. During this class, you will be working on basic obedience around a group of dogs, people, and other distractions. Class runs at a minimum of 4 dogs and a maximum of 8. Sign-up is required!

Basic Manners I

  • Material covered includes basic obedience with positive reinforcement methods, distraction training, leash manners and more!
  • 6-week group class schedule.
  • 45 minutes per class.
  • Maximum of 6 dogs.
  • Geared for dogs over 6 months.
  • Sign-up is required!

Board & Bump

  • This program was created for traveling clients who need to board their dogs while away. Why just board your dog at a facility with no structure and allow bad habits to form when you can have them spend the time with us to train? Your pup will spend the day training with a full bump-up and then board at our facility. Reservations are required!

Bump Up Days

  • This was created as a half/full day daycare with training program for any current or prior student looking to bump up their obedience, work on specific commands and have the pup out of the house for a day of fun without the dangers of a traditional daycare facility. During the day they will have multiple training sessions, free play with compatible playmates (if approved), introduction to agility and/or socialization sessions. Sign up is required as there is a maximum of 6 dogs per day, per trainer in this program. Sign-up is required!

Our Specialty Group Classes are designed to address specific training goals and interests in a fun, social setting.

AKC Therapy Dog Training

This is a 6-week program focused on teaching owners and their dogs the rules and regulations of the TDI world. Training and testing of this course will make certain that your dog can remain calm around people and in challenging situations.

The purpose of this program is to recognize AKC dogs and their owners who have given their time and helped people by volunteering as a therapy dog and owner team.

  • The AKC Therapy Dog™ program awards official AKC titles to dogs who have worked to improve the lives of the people they have visited.
  • AKC Therapy Dog titles can be earned by dogs who have been certified by AKC recognized therapy dog organizations and have performed the required number of visits.
  • AKC does not certify therapy dogs; the certification and training is done by qualified therapy dog organizations. The certification organizations are the experts in this area and their efforts should be acknowledged and appreciated. Sign-up is required!

Canine Good Citizen

Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. During this 6-week course, we will focus on teaching owners and their dogs the items needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. The test will be performed on the final night of class. Training and testing of this course will make certain that your dog can remain calm around people and in challenging situations. Dogs must be over the age of six months!

Intro to Agility

Our Intro to Agility course is an entry-level class designed to introduce and welcome beginning dogs and their handlers to the AKC sport of agility!

This class is for dogs and puppies aged 10 months and older. This is a 6-week course. This class will introduce your dog to agility obstacles such as – the A-frame, weave poles, tunnel, jumps, dog walk, and more!

Trick Training

Looking for a way to build confidence, focus and engagement with your dog while having fun? These classes are great fun for all participants, human and canine alike! If you want to have more fun with your dog and provide some great mental stimulation for Fido, sign up for a trick training class!

This is a 6-week course that give you and your dog the opportunity to learn a variety of fun tricks and behaviors while also earning an AKC® “Novice” or “Intermediate” Trick Dog Title.
